Today, we learned about the next new ship coming to the Elite Dangerous galaxy: Zorgon Peterson's Panther Clipper Mk II. Although most of the details are not yet released, we know a few things:

First (as expected), the Panther Clipper Mk II will be a large ship. By volume, it's the largest ship in the game--and this is by design: it will be a cargo ship, specifically designed to aid with Colonisation efforts. The Panther Clipper Mk II will feature rotating engines and quad landing gear, and a brand new cockpit described on Frontier Unlocked as "more like a bridge than a cockpit", with seating for you and three of your friends!

The Panther Clipper Mk II will be released this summer as part of the Vanguards update, but tune back here at the end of May--we expect to have more details after the May edition of Frontier Unlocked!
